The collaboration provides community pharmacies across Canada and the United States with the ability to tap into Uber’s delivery network and offer fast and reliable delivery to their customers.
This partnership is set to launch at the National Community Pharmacy Association (NCPA) Conference in Ohio on October 28, 2024, where both companies will unveil the integration of Uber Direct into the MedEssist Pharmacy dashboard.
By combining MedEssist’s innovative pharmacy management platform with Uber’s delivery expertise and technology, pharmacies can now offer medication deliveries anytime—during evenings, weekends, and even holidays—providing more accessible healthcare to people across North America.

The MedEssist Pharmacy dashboard, now available for free, integrates directly with Uber Direct, allowing pharmacies to request deliveries without additional setup costs or recurring fees. Whether serving rural areas or urban centers, community pharmacies will be able to offer same-day delivery services and ensure that prescriptions and healthcare products reach customers quickly and efficiently.
